What the estimate includes
The calculator separates percentage-based costs from fixed or adjustable amounts. Defaults are planning assumptions, not a quotation. New-build, resale, cash, and mortgaged purchases can have different fees and commercial arrangements.
Costs buyers commonly overlook
- Bank valuation, processing, and mortgage registration costs.
- Trustee, conveyancing, or administration costs where applicable.
- Furnishing, snagging, utilities, and move-in preparation.
- Annual service charges and property management.
- Currency conversion and international transfer charges.
Before transferring funds
Confirm the receiving account independently, verify the legal entity and project details, obtain the reservation and sale documents, understand refund conditions, and have an independent qualified adviser review matters outside the broker’s role.
Buyer questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the calculator a final quotation?
No. It is an adjustable planning estimate. Exact costs depend on the transaction, finance, property status, and current written terms.
Does the property price include furnishing?
Only when the written offer and sale documents expressly include it. Add a realistic furnishing allowance when it is excluded or unclear.
Should international buyers budget for currency costs?
Yes. Exchange-rate movement, intermediary-bank fees, and transfer timing can change the amount ultimately required in the buyer’s home currency.
